Missing practice because of detention is not acceptable and will be dealt with individually. If a student wants to be part of the MS Sports Program, he/she must behave in a socially acceptable manner ("TIGERS" values) while at school. Missing practice because of make-up tests is not acceptable and will be dealt with individually. If a student wishes to accept the role of "student-athlete", he must understand that "student" comes first and take care of his studies accordingly. IMPORTANT Players must wear shin guards while playing. Players are encouraged to purchase their own pair, but there will be some available to borrow at practices and jamborees. Players may not wear eyeglasses while playing: *Safety regulations imposed by the MS Sports governing body, KAIAC, state that EYEGLASSES ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING THE FOLLOWING MS SPORTS: Soccer, Swimming, Volleyball, Basketball ALTERNATIVES: athletic goggles, contact lenses, or just remove the eyeglasses |
